The Interfaith Hospitality Network (IHN) program utilizes local churches to provide overnight shelter and meals for homeless families with minor children. Families use the day center facility to seek employment, bathe, do laundry, as well as receive intensive case management, and life skills training from professional staff.
Our Fresh Start Program began in 2010 as a result of community leaders seeing a need for a shelter to provide services to homeless couples. The City of Rock Hill donated a duplex to Family Promise to be used to house homeless couples as well as families that do not have minor children or where there are extenuating circumstances that would make participation in our IHN program difficult.
FPYC is now offering rental assistance to families that have been effected by the COVID-19 virus. Up to 3 months of rental assistance can be provided to those who qualify. To apply, please call our offices at (803) 329-2456.
Is your family in need of emergency shelter? Family Promise may be able to help through our hotel voucher program. As of 8/1/2023, we do not have any hotel vouchers available. Website will be updated when more funds are available
Help us provide shelter for families by sponsoring a day of shelter in our program. DONATE today!
